Look away if winter is not in your vocabulary yet!

Sorry to do this, it pains me that we don’t live in a hot county, but that fact is we don’t and I have to stop harping on about it. So here goes.

I love structure and elegance when it comes to coats and this season it is defiantly a case of all the buses coming at ones. 40’S Glamour, Victorian structures and Cruella Daville furs. (Say what you like about her, the girl had class!)

Textured Faux Fur Belted Coat Fur Coat TopShop £98.

I love the Victorian Style capes and think the big buttons although look like something you might have seen on the signal man in the Railway Children, do bring a certain elegance to them.

Black Contrast Piped Hooded Cape Black hooded cape TopShop £70.

Animal Print Capelet I

Animal Print Cape TopShop £60

ASOS Fit And Flare Coat With Belt Flare Coat £90 ASOS.

ASOS Pleated Coat With Fold Over Collar Red flare coat £75 ASOS. ASOS Premium Belted Coat Also ASOS. A little pricey at £120 but is timeless and with go with anything.

Team any of these turn of the century styles with knee high black boots and you’ll have a trend right on the money. I guess we can look good in the cold.

Black Floral Print PJ JacketThe pulled in waist line and collar remind me of simple chic with 40’s influences. TopShop £55.
